About Me
Hello, I am Mr. Duran, I am 31 years old and am going on my 8th year of teaching at LAB. I was born in Colombia and moved to the United States when I was 4 years old. We moved to Boston before settling in Greenville in 2005. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2019 with a Bachelors in History. I have enjoyed getting to work with the students and teachers here at LAB as well as opening their knowledge on the history and beauty of our world. Following the South Carolina Social Studies Standards I teach World History in 6th Grade, World Geography in 7th Grade, and South Carolina History in 8th Grade.

Mr. Duran’s S.S. Vocab Quiz Corrections Directions
(Student will receive half of the points lost added back to their overall grade)
- Keep both the quiz and the list of definitions to use and also have lined paper to write on. Turn both in together.
- Write name, date, and day on lined paper.
- For any question you got wrong write the question number on the paper, write the vocab term, and beside it write the correct definition.
