Basketball Court Dedication
A high-school regulation-size basketball court was generously donated to us by the A'ja Wilson Foundation and Lifetime. Former USC star and current WNBA player for the Las Vegas Aces and MVP, A'ja Wilson, who is also dyslexic, came to the school Tuesday afternoon to dedicate the court. She was in the state for a dedication ceremony of an 11-foot statue of her being placed outside the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia (to read more about this, click here). She showed off her skills with some shots, to include an almost half-court shot, and even signed a basketball for the school! The students are so excited about it and have enjoyed playing on it! We are so thankful for the school's relationship with A'Ja Wilson and her parents, as well as the A'ja Wilson Foundation. Below are some pictures from the event.
