Open Enrollment is Almost Here

"Patricia's" Day at Lakes and Bridges

A Typical School Day at Lakes and Bridges It’s Tuesday at 8 a.m., and Patricia, a fourth grader, has just arrived at school. She finds space for her book bag and runs over to join a jump-roping group of friends. As she jumps, she looks around and sees kids building with Legos, playing board games and reading books. That’s what she loves about getting to school early: she has so many choices of fun things to do. At 8:15, teachers gather students in homeroom groups for Bridge Rally. Community meetings throughout the Upstate of SC are being scheduled in order to talk about Lakes and Bridges Charter School, specifically about the enrollment process for the school which begins November 1, 2017 and ends January 31, 2018. The next meeting of the Charter Committee of Lakes & Bridges Charter School will take place on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, and will take place in Room 125 of the Clemson United Methodist Church, 300 Frontage Road in Clemson. 1. Community Resource Fair at Littlejohn Community Center in Clemson, Saturday, 9/16

Lakes and Bridges will have a table at the Community Resource Fair this Saturday, September 16, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Littlejohn Community Center in Clemson. Come out and get information about Lakes and Bridges Charter School. Tell your friends and family who have children struggling with reading, writing, and spelling, so they can learn more about this fabulous school. Open Enrollment Begins November 1, 2017

Open enrollment for grades 1-5 for the 2018-2019 school year begins November 1, 2017, and ends January 31, 2018. We will send out more information, as well as hosting community meetings, soon. We are very excited about this school, and the opportunity it affords dyslexic children throughout South Carolina by creating a learning environment in which the dyslexic child can thrive and reach the potential within each of them.
