Laura Cassidy, wife of U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, will be the keynote speaker. The Cassidys have transformed Washington by promoting legislation for dyslexia. They also founded a charter school, Key Academy, for children with dyslexia in Baton Rogue, La. Ms. Cassidy will be joined by many other top dyslexia scholars and advocates in South Carolina to lead discussions, workshops

Community Interest Meetings

Please plan to attend an upcoming community interest meeting about Lakes & Bridges. These meetings, which are free and open to the public, will allow parents and other interested community members to learn about the school, figure out whether it's a good fit for their children, and hopefully send in Letters of Student Interest to help us plan the school and open our doors. You can also help the school by spreading news about these meetings to neighbors and members of your community. We have fliers available that you can put up in your church, schools, or local businesses. To get a flier, please email labcharterschool@gmail.com. Meeting Schedule: Sept. 26, 2016, 5:30 pm Open Community Interes
