Enrollment Process

Because we are an Alternative Education Campus (AEC), we can only accept children with a primary formal diagnosis of dyslexia/SLD or those children who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling, and have the characteristics of dyslexia.

Qualified students are those who complete the application process and have a primary diagnosis of dyslexia/SLD, an IEP that supports the primary disability being served as dyslexia/SLD, or the characteristics of dyslexia/SLD and/or have demonstrated the need for such specific services through (but not limited to) documentation in a formal evaluation, IEP, 504 plan, or documentation from previous schools that the student is not meeting grade-specific standards in literacy.

Although Open Enrollment has already closed for the 2019-2020 school year, and our lottery has taken place, we can still accept  applications. If your child meets the criteria of a qualified candidate by having a primary diagnosis of dyslexia/SLD, then their name will be added to the bottom of the waiting list in the order in which we received it.
